Mercury Broach Co., Inc. was founded in 1961 as a broaching and gear cutting shop. About 20 years after it opened, Leo Eberlein purchased the business from the original owners. During Leo’s ownership, the business continued to thrive and grow in the Los Angeles area. About 27 years ago, Leo’s only son Mark, began to take over and purchase the business from his father. During Mark time owning the business, they have upgraded to more modern machines which allow for more efficient and safe production and altering of the parts that they receive. Although the business has grown significantly, it is still a small business that operates with about 15 employees, most of those employee’s having worked together for 20 years.
Our business strives to provide the best gear cutting and broaching service in Los Angeles County. We build relationships with our customers and we love having them use our services year after year. With some of the latest machinery, we can accommodate just about any type of job that needs to be completed. We have years of experience completing parts for jet ski’s, army tanks, wrenches, and even bone screws. Our customer’s will benefit from our business because we are personal with our customers and they will speak directly to the shop foreman or the owner of the business. We are fast and efficient and strive to have the work completed in a timely manner. Our new blog site is to give our readers a little more insight into who we are, what we do, the history of the business, update them on new machinery and even share some of our process’ with them.
